need help with ID

I got this from a friend and have no idea what it is. All the mouths close and open if they catch food.

Appears to be a 'real' Palythoa. Most of the zoas in the hobby that get labled palythoa are more likely Protopalythoa- they are largely seperate polyps, sometimes connected by a thin ribbon of tissue. Yours though has the polyps deeply embedded in a thick coenosarc- much more typical of true Palythoa.

And.. $5 wasnt a bad deal. A colony half that size goes for $20 to $30 around here...
 
Hormigaquatica, I think you are correct. My friend said she thought it was some kind of Zoas but she did not know.

I googled it and some seem to be very large. It grows really fast.
