Need help with MSX 160

Guys, I need some help. I got my 125 up and running a week ago. ( I know this skimmer is too small but its all I got right now) I put in the live rock and sand and saltwater and have been letting it cycle. I started up my MSX 160 today and it is constantly overflowing. It's making tons of foam but the foam will fill up the cup in about 30 seconds. It is in the same sump ( at 10" deep) it was in when I had my 90g running and it did perfect in it. I haven't made any changes to the skimmer. I've check the mesh wheel, silencer and hose for blockage and all gaskets. It even overflows if I take off the stand pipe on the side. Any ideas?

Is your tank just that dirty? Maybe hook up a DIY waste collector to it (old milk jug ot 2-liter bottle) and see how it goes.

The tank is brand new. The foam coming off the skimmer is snow white. I did rinse the tank... a lot before I started it up. Could it be because the saltwater is fresh?

probably not the saltwater, are the rocks cured? If not, that may contribute to excess skimming
