Need Help with my Clowns!

Hey all,

I have a 90 Gallon Reef Tank thats been running for awhile and I have Tangs, Angelfish and Clowns in it. My question is about the clowns ofcourse, About a month ago I purchased a wild caught Maroon Clown that is about 2 inches long maybe just under. After about 2 days he/she was hosting in one of my Long Tentacle Anemones. Today I bought another Maroon Clown which was tank raised and is slightly smaller/younger. When the new MC approached the anemone for the first time, the wild one lashed out and locked up with the new one until the new one was chased off. I really want to pair up with the wild maroon and the new one is not fighting back and showing signs of submission. The wild one only lashes out when the new one comes close to the anemone and has alot of room elsewhere in the tank to escape and swim. Should I allow them to have a couple days or weeks together to see if they can coexist and possibly pair up? Or will this probably never happen? Im aware that Maroons are of the more aggressive Clown species. Thanks for any suggestions!

sounds normal, wait see what plays out. just watch them real close for fin damage and so on.
