Need help with my green star polyps

I need help with my green star polyps i have them over a month they both where all open doing fine and out of no where this stop opening and it's been over a week and half and they still haven't opened any more what should i do or what's is going on ??

Have you moved the frag at all? GSP is almost impossible to kill, but it will often stay closed for awhile if disturbed. Other possibilities are something has stung it, or a crab has been munching it.

GSP need iodine. They like xenia are especially sensitive to iodine depletion. If you arent alreaxy doising, give it a try.

Looks like you've got some algae growing on the frag OR it could be brown jelly disease. I'd take the frag out and use a soft brush to clean around the polyps and get that stuff off.

Then, do a 10 minute dip in 50/50 peroxide/tank water. Rinse well and put back in the tank. In a few days, they should open back up.
