Need help with next addition.

Hello everyone.

I have a 10 gallon rmixed reef housing a three stripe damsel and a cleaner shrimp with various corals (frogspawn, hammer, zoas, mushroom), and a massive feather duster lol. The reef has been up for almost 6 months and has had good growth of corals and coraline. I have not looked up my parameters recently but last time i did, tested at a local fish store last weekend, they said all parameters were perfect.

My question is, what should be my next addition?? I know its a very small tank, but I was just wondering what would look good in the tank next.

Thanks in advanced :D

Kinda depends what you like. Because you have an damsel in there your gonna need a fairly agressive fish to not get bullied around too much. A royal gramma is kinda pushing it bio load wise but if your diligent with water changes it could work. Another option is a citron goby. Nice color contrast with the damsel

Oh very true. I do weekly 1 gallon water changes. I really like wrasses, but I know it will probably be impossible to have one because they are jumpers and just not a big enough tank to have one.

I'm liking the goby, but I am also wondering if there are any other options.

Unfortunately any fish you try to add to that tank will end up being bullied to death by that damsel. That 10g is his territory, and believe me, three stripes are extremely territorial and aggresive. It's not a matter of if it will attack, it's when. No new fish unless you remove the damsel.

If you do remove the damsel, liveaquaria has put together a list of nano-friendly fish. - http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/aquarium-fish-supplies.cfm?c=15+2124

Dangggggg really? on liveaquaria there is the compatibility chart and it said some fish will be able to live with it, but you are very right. Forgot how damsels are very territorial.

Well hopefully I will come up with something. I think I am going to start over this tank anyways.

Thanks for the help.
