Need help with receeding stag

Is this a pest? My water params are perfect. It is happening to a green slimer as well. look slike something is eating it.....

Mine have done that in shaded areas as they grow large on top. Turkey baste the colonies and if you have aefw they'll fly off

I have had stags do this before and it out that it was AEFW.Do as suggested with the turkey baster and you will know for sure.

if its not aefw, check when the lights are out. sometimes you could catch the culprit redhanded.

my acro wll also recede in the shaded areas but in the pic it looks like the recession has ventured into lit territory. turkey baste and if nothing, at night use a red light to hunt for the offender

does a red light keep the offender from noticing it is being watched?
This recession is crtainly in lit territory. check out the perfectly good tissue under the effected area.
