Need help with ricordea

can you feed these things because mine arent looking so hot just picked them up from the lfs about 3 days ago

What kind of ricordea? How much light? where did you place them?

they love mysis shrimp!

I feed mine small pieces of raw shrimp. If the ric's are very small (dime size) you can mince or turn the shrimp into a paste and use a baster to gently blow some on them. It's best to turn off the pumps if they are small since the weight of the food can be caught in the current and they will loose their supper.

Do you have them in a low flow area? They like low flow.

they are at the bottom in a medium flow

perhaps the flow is too much for them. You do not have to feed these corals to keep them.

i moved them to a corner of the tank with minimum flow.

hmm... I've never fed mine. Is there a large benefit to this? I know it's normally considered a good idea to feed LPS corals to increase growth, that's the same for these?

if you feed any kind of coral it will grow faster than if you dont feed them or atleast thats what im understanding

Assuming the coral can truly take advantage of it. I'd this would aid them as well, yet I rarely here anyone do it to try increase growth. but I agree, it seems as though it would.
