Hi!

We a new Tunza 9011 that I've used a couple of weeks, it has worked fine when I feed and add different things as I turn the skimmer on and remove the power plug, when I put in the power plug again then it worked just fine but Now those last 2 days so it will not work again after I've taken in and out the power from wall, and now its not work and its only goes so slowly simmers just as there is something wrong with the water level or that it has entered anything to block the water.

Yesterday I had to dismantle the skimmer for and then put it together and then it worked.

Anybody have any suggestions? Can not take it out of the tank and bring it up every time i have taken out the power plug from wall.

I Have tried to take out the air screw, close the air, take of the skimmer cup and turn the skimmer arround in tank but its not helping

I will be happy for some tips and help to work it out :)

Raysis,

My best guess is the pump is defective, on some early 9011 motors the sensor for the electronic start was installed wrong and they sometimes start backwards and do as you describe. The factory will replace the motor, they should be open again on the 3rd but I don't think they will answer the phone until the 10th. Until then, I would keep trying to restart it until it spins the right way.

Hello rvitko.

It happening Almost everytime the power goes off,
Last time i just take the skimmer over the water and down again without unplug the power and then it work again, everytime i take the skimmer over the waterline it works fine, can the pump still be deffect or can it take damage when this happend? its sound like its not could start just simmers and when its happend its just a littlebit bubbles inside the skimmerboks

Ok, then im gonna Ask for a new pump from the dealer,
Is it somethings wrong with all the first 9011 pumps or its just wrong with someone? If its not wrong with all then we can try the other pump the dealer have in store :)

It is a simple problem, inside the pump is a sensor that makes sure the impeller spins the right way, in some early pumps, about 10% of them, the sensor is too low and cannot detect the magnet, we found this problem after about a month and a new step of quality check for this problem was added and it should be solved.
