Need help with water testing?

What water testing do I do before the live rock goes into the tank? SG, PH, ????

Get the pH, Temp, and SG where you want it, and go for it.

before the LR goes in SG, Temp., and PH, are about the only things you need to check. once the LR is in and the cycle begins, you will need to keep an eye on the ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates as well. once the amm. and nitrites hit 0ppm then your tank has just about cycled. your nitrates will start dropping and should get near 0ppm. then your ready for live stock.
