I have tried moving them low for a couple weeks.. then up top for the past 10 days. They are not opening (not sure if they are supposed to). here are some more pics.

they have grown 1/2' inch or more in a month (in length)

Any comments on my stack would be helpful too, I am plumbing my 125 in today so I need some feedback.
Thank You

What kind of light are you using? looks like your xenia is a bit stretched upward to. Mine did that also but with some advice from fatboystinger i moved them up and they are just fine. just wanted some more sunshine.

2 10k and 2 actinic blue 24" t5. Xenia really ant stretched. the base stalk was big when I got it. (small frag) No need for a new light. going to use a hamilton mh/t5 combo on my 125 next week.

Nocturnal, neat find!

Yes they open at night. They also will accept small particles of food at night.. They do require light..
