I just bought a neon green sinularia. I dipped him in coral dip before placing him in the tank. After a few hours notice he started to slouch over. I moved him to the sand bed cause I heard its better to start a new coral out there and slowly adjust them to the light.

That's a picture when I first put him in.

And that's now

Water parameters are;
Salinity 1.025
Ph 8.4
Alk 10.6
Nitrates 0
Phosphates 0
Calcium 420
Temp 78.6
Nitrites 0
Ammonia 0

Any advice would be great. Thanks

leave it alone. it takes a bit for them to acclimate to your tank. they will continue to do this from time to time to expel algae.

All leathers can be kinda frumpy when messed with, especially when first introduced into a new tank. Like 3dees said leave it alone. I will say that this particular sinularia likes med/high light and moderate flow. I have the same coral and it took me a few months to find its Happy place. Wait a few days to a week then slowly every few days to a week move it into more light and see where it gets happy. It's possible that it came from a tank with high lighting such as yours and it's mad that it doesn't have the high light now.

He actually seems to be doing a little better today. Just going to follow the advice you guys gave and just leave it alone

Most corals are sensitive to change, and it may take up to a few weeks for them to look as the way the did in the store. However, as long as it is healthy you should see a gradual increase in health as it acclimates.
