Hello
I just bought a new 60g glass tank and stand today from fish and corral center in costa mesa. Tank doesn't come with overflow or hole in its.
My question is:
1) Is there a way to add the sum to the tank without drilling the hole in the tank?
2) How much it cost to add the sum??
3) Is the price is ok for this 60g tank? I pay $200 for the tank and stand, the tank itself cost $90, glass lid cost $10 and stand cost another $100. Oh and the tank is custom made I think. It the same size as regular 40g tank but taller.
Thank you

You can add a sump using an overflow of some sort that takes water over the top of the aquarium and down into the sump, then a pump that moves water from the sump up to the tank. I made my own overflow for about $15 using acrylic and PVC pipe. Your best bet is to have someone drill the tank and add built-in overflows. It's much more stable and produces less hassle.

where a good place to get the job done, I mean for drilling the tank and add over flow box?
I live in costa mesa.
thank you

So is there any one here can drill the tank for me or any good place to get drill???
I need to move the tank by today or tomorrow.
thank you

Sorry to butt in but I have heard some over flow box nightmares...is it true an overflow box will drain 1/3 of your tank in the a power outtage..? I was j/w because I was thinking of adding one also...Thanks!

that the same thing I heard too, that why I want to get my tank drill but I guess no one know where to get it drill. I guess??

Not really if you set it up right there shouldn't be any problems you just need a large enough sump to handle the amount of water from your tank that will siphon when power goes out.
