You planning on using vinyl tubing down to the sump or pvc? Where do you want it drilled? Bottom or back? The bottom of the 40breeder isn't tempered right? I'll bring you a bulkhead if you are using vinyl and are drilling the bottom!

im using vynil tubing, on the top left on the back

but i need a hose barb also, my friend says, ywa, id need the bulkhead... but im not drilling the bottom.....

Tom do you use a MDF template clamped down to start the hole? I'll pack the plumber's putty

only way to tell that I know of Tom is the "polarized lens trick"... I've never tried it but apparently a pair of polarized lens will reveal characteristic marks in the glass caused by the tempering.
I'll see what I have in the bins for bulkheads...99% I have what you need. If Tom does the drilling I'll do some plumbing if you'd like. Sure you don't want that corner overflow?

How tall is the inside of the tank from bottom glass to the bottom of the top trim? I'll need to trim the overflow down to the right height and it would be easier if I cut it here....

Alright so all i need is tank, bulkhead and vinyl unless Jon has a bulkhead, so all i would need is vinyl.
