i dont know if i am in the rite forum but i have a frogfish and he is bloated looking. i was wondering if anyone knew what is going on with my frogfish. thanks you.

There is a wealth of information in the RC thread

Frogfish Files

Frogfish Files 2

But there are probably three possibilities:

• Your angler ate an especially large meal and it is still digesting

• It has swallowed air, this sometimes rectifies itself but there is
a burping procedure described in the above mentioned thread.

• It has an internal bacterial infection (Vibrio or Mycobacterium).
Chances of survival from this is rare. You might try dosing the
hospital tank with Nitrofurazone or another antibiotic effective
against gram-negative bacteria

the fish just took in some air and it fine now i fed him last nite and he ate so i am not too worry no more. thanks for the article.
