I am thinking of doing a 30 gallon TBS tank. Here is what I have and what I am running (my tank is dry right now):
30 Gallon Standard All-Glass Tank
CPR AquaFuge 18 Hang-On Refugium with Mineral Mud
JBJ 18 watt 6700 Compact Light (for refugium)
Current USA Orbit 36" 4x96 Watt Power Compact Strip Light
Two Maxi-Jet 900 Power Heads
One Mini-Jet 606 Power Head
Remora Protein Skimmer with 1200
AquaClear 300 running carbon and Algone (no pad)
Aquarium Systems Natural WaveMaker
VisaTherm 150 Watt Heater
Medium Mag-Float
Pentair Aquatics Little Time and Temp Thermometer
I believe I got it all. If there is anything anyone can suggest that I may need using TBS rock and sand please let me know. Also, I am not happy with my current test kit and I would like some suggestions on which one to get. I was thinking perhaps both the Marine and Reef RedSea test kits. Well, I believe I covered it all. I would like to get some help and some opinions on how to have a successful TBS reef tank. Thanks everyone!
