Need Ich Advice Quickly

Keep an eye on your ph. Low salinity could drop it causing issues.
In my opunion if you are going to go the route of hypo, then a ato is a must to insure the salinity stays constant. Any raise above the 1.009 resets the clock.

pH is at 8.0. No change from where I was at before starting the salinity drop. I have an ATO so no problem maintaining the level where it needs to be. I took the salinity up a little to "stop the bleeding" and changed 30 gallons of water using RO/DI in case the problem was my dechlorinated tap water. I've had no additional losses but still have 3 fish that are not active at all. It's strange that some were never affected. I've got 3 options at this point:
1. Take the salinity back down and run hypo.
2. Continue to raise the salinity and run copper.
3. Craigslist.

The bleeding has stopped with the initial loss of 3 fish. All the others have been accounted for and are no longer spending all their time hiding in the rocks. I'd like to see them eat a little better but if there are no long term effects from this incident I may get past this with no further losses. I see no white spots on any of the fish so I am wondering if it was even ich at all or some other parasite. The plan right now is to gradually take the salt back up. I'll remove 5 gallons of water, add a cup or two of salt, and pour it back in. It might take a while but I'm in no hurry. If the white spots come back I'll still need a plan to deal with them.

When the spots disappear, it's simply the parasite going through its life cycle, only to return days later. I would not abandon treatment at this point, as you have not eliminated the threat.
