Need ID help...

I was just looking at my tank and saw a really long worm in my tank. I removed it and put it in a cup for now. It's about 2" long, but was crawling across a rock and seemd to stretch longer than that and is really skinny. The first 1/4" is light brown and the rest is a dark brown/black color. It doesn't look like is has any legs. Does anyone know what this is? Is it good/bad?

It might be a peanut worm. I have one of those in my tank too. They are good for the tank because they eat detritus and crap like that.

sounds like a Sipunculan or Peanut Worm to me as well. here some info and pics to make sure.

Sounds like a peanut worm to me too. I have so many in one of my live rocks I've named it Peanut Rock.
