Any idea what this pimple is on his lip? I noticed it a few days ago. Here is what I dosed so far.

Formalin bath the day I got him (3 weeks ago)
TTM for 2 1/2 weeks
Just dosed first round of prazi pro 3 days ago
Currently in new tank/new water as of 4 hours ago.

As you can see in the video, i think he's still twitching his head which indicates flukes still bothering him?

Here is a video of him

I didn't see any twitching in the video. His behavior, not doing a whole lot of swimming, sitting on the bottom is a little concerning. Does he often sit by the blenny? Do you have any PVC or anything for the fish to hide in? How is his eating?

What's odd was this behavior started last night after I got off of work. I saw him in the corner and he turned dark. At that time I panicked and pulled him out and put him into a new tank. I dropped a pvc elbow in there last night. This morning he's still in the corner. I usually drop some algae pellets that he normally goes right after, but so far I haven't seen him touch it. Not sure what could be wrong with him.

Come to think of it he usually doesn't hang around he blenny up close like that before. Sometimes he will swim next to him and then swim away, but him laying next to the blenny is a bit odd.

I would stop moving it so much, you're adding to the stress unless youre doing TT. the behavior does look a little odd, but without knowing what's going on their is little you can do. If you are treating with prazi already you dont want to really add anything else to the tank. I have done metro and prazi together but I wouldn't suggest that without knowing what the fish has (if anything). Just put some PVC in their for it to hide in and watch.

Just note that anything you do to the tang now has to be done to the blenny because they are in the same water and probably have the same thing (again if anything).

Yeah they were going through TT for the last 2 1/2 weeks. I know it's excessive but I recently had a second tank that went through a reinfection after 15 days of ttm. I think I'm going to move the one last time in a couple days and just observe. Not sure what could be wrong with him. I'm not sure what the white pimple is on his lip. But hopefully he can pull through, as he has quickly become my favorite fish.

Update: I came home from work and he's still saying very close to the blenny. He's not swimming much either. He would just stay in one place and every so often will flash off the glass. He's not eating anything either. I've notice that it will also seem like he's coughing sometimes. Either something still in his gills that's affecting him, although there is no visable signs on his skin. No spots, no mucus skin. I'm wanting to do a formalin bath on him but I'm not sure if I should. Please share your advice on what I should do. I'm afraid if I wait too long, he wont make it

I ended up giving him a freshwater dip first and there's about 5 small worm like things in the water. I take it the prazi wasn't really effective.

He's still isn't eating. And has swam around a bit today but still stays in one spot majority of the time. I went ahead and did a formalin dip and dropped him into a new tank. I however noticed a white spot in the middle of his left eye. And his gills seem to be swollen on one side as well. Anyone know what can be possibly wrong with my tang? I should also add that his top fin have seem to become a bit rugged.

This looks like flukes to me. Keep doing FW dips every couple days until nothing falls off. If the fish is this badly infected with flukes you will need to put it in antibacterial meds to prevent infection in the open sores left when the flukes die.

I checked on him this morning and it seems like very small parts of his top fin are coming off. Could this be fin rot? Or symptoms of a bad fluke infestation? I will do a fresh water dip when I get home from work today.

What do you recommend on the timeframe for freshwater dips? 10-15 mins? I take it I will need to aerate the water with an air stone. And since the blenny is in the same tank I would have to do it for him as well I take it.
