Montastrea sp.

Ive always known this coral as Montastrea as well. Whether its correct or not... dunno.

It size is pretty impressive (almost 10" across) and it is starting to get blue centers along with the purple and green. I have it getting a good amount of light. I did find one small tear in the tissue, but I am hoping nothing becomes of it. Thanks again.

Haha I can only wish. Kudos on that find. Its favia and I would break up a few shrimps pellets and sprinkle the pieces at night, did that on my Christmas Favia at night and he thrived. Only until the 12g crashed..... Oh well.

Good Luck!
