Need ID

I have an abundance of "something" I'm unable to identify. They are sometimes on the bottom and sometimes attached to the LR. They are round, pea to marble size, color ranging from light green to a silver pearl opalescent, somewhat translucent. They don't seem to be causing any problems, but are reproducing rapidly. (I've been netting them off the bottom) Can anyone ID these for me and possibly suggest a control for them?

That's a very vague description. Do you have a picture? If you could guess what they are, what would you think? I'm guessing either a Collanista Snail or Amphipods.
