Looks like some kind of flatworm but not one I've ever seen. I go with things on the glass want what's on the glass - film algae. This bumps it up so maybe someone else who knows will chime in.

Appreciate it! Only thing is I haven’t noticed them before and I haven’t added anything to my tank in 18 months. Tank is at least 4-5 years old. I also make my own rodi water.

And if flatworms I think they look less like Planaria and more like Rhabocoelas….. thoughts? Someone mentioned detritus worms?

What’s everyone’s concern level.

This^^^ As long as you’re not seeing immediate I’ll effects, then I wouldn’t worry. A wrasse (like a six line or Halichoeres family) may be good at keeping them in check.

appreciate the feedback. I'll increase my tank husbandry and see if that helps the problem. Less excess nutrients = less unwanted guests lol.

Old reef keeper saying...the secret to pollution is dilution. Test and water change.
