my jbj ballast broke down. won't power on any longer, i've tried the new fuses but end up smoking it up. i have 2 18watt pc left which is running my tank. im thinking of getting a MH retro kit but not sure if the NC hood will handle the heat. i've heard others say that the heat will melt the plastic. does anyone have any experiance in this situation? i also read on NR.com that JBJ is coming out with at 150w mh canopy but that doesn't come out till 02-07 and im lightless now. thanks for any info
