Our old 150 watt ballast "died" today- trying a new bulb= 6 week old phoenix 14k , I could not figure out why it would not fire the bulb - I think the old ballast just was too old. After waiting several hours to make sure the ballast was not hot, I put in the new bulb again, and flipped the switch, and pop, the bulb burnt out while trying to start (got a quick flash) , checked the ballast fuse and it is fried as well. I would hate to blow another bulb by trying out the ballast again with a new fuse. Anyhow- looking for new lights to put over a 34 cube- so 150 or 250 De fixture/pendant. Or just a ballast what can be wired to use with the old 150 DE pendent. IT has a three prong quick connect = round with 3 prongs- 2 are longer and one shorter. I don't know if that is a standard connection or not. ANY help- even if it is borrowed until we can pick up something affordable for him would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ted
