I am trying to replace 175w MH SE bulb whic is running with FPO ballast. This is being used on a frag tank and trying to see if I should use 10K or 14K and which brand? what do you guys think?
If you want high PAR, I would go with an IWASAKI 15k. I have been using one on an M57 ballast, and I think they are even better on electronic. I also have an XM 10k and 20K. They are okay too, but the IWASAKI really puts out the light.
Don't really need High PAR b/c tank is not that deep. Something which will add nice color and growth. I read some reviews on Aquamaxx 14k and went ahead and ordered it. I'll let you guys know how it compares.
