need new sump

i need a bigger sump my wet dry is not big enough for protin and main pump , but it cant be any wider than 8 inchs and as long as what ever keith

I would say use a tank but with only 8 inches... I'm pretty sure a 20g long is 13" wide, you might have to get one custom made, I know a lot of the LFS have people that can do it.

Another solution would be to go for a skimmer that would sit out of the sump but I'm not sure if that would work with your plans

thats a good idea christie - and maybe a return pump that is out as well - then you can make your wetdry into a refug. should be pretty easy to do it all :-D

ya i only have that 8 inchs wide but i can go as long as i need to , i am also going to up grade my tank to a 90 gallon about 6 months from now so i would like to get it long enought so i can use it on my new tank too, problem is that my sea life proten skimmer is not working right now so i was going to get a bigger one i also wanted to get a big enough on for the 90

I have a 20x8x15 s sump that I will not be using soon. I am going to buy a 65 gal tank and have been told I should buy a larger sump. We might be able to work something out.
