Need opinion on 2" return line.

My tank has a 2" return line to a Blueline 2000 GPH pump. I want to cut in a tee to feed a closed loop pump with a 11/2" return. So it would be a 2000GPH pump and a VectraL1 3150GPH pump all on a 2" return. Will a 2" handle both pumps?

U will need a check valve on the feed side of both pumps. But 2" should be fine. Also the bigger pump my over power the smaller one. If that happens try starting the small one first let it run for a while then start the bigger one. Make sure your T is a street sweep T.
