I am beginning a 150g build and need some recommendation on return/skimmer pump.
I have a EV-180 that is being run off a non-pressure rated jebao DCT4000 and I believe the performance is so so. What I was wondering is if I can get a pressure rated external pump, like a panworld PS200 and split the return between the skimmer and the tank return. The 150 is built for 1" Herbie overflow and 1" return. I figured I would also get some extra flow in the tank.
Also how loud are pressure rated pumps?
