Need Recommendation for Fish for AIPTASIA

What kind of corals are you keeping?

My baby 2 spot butterfly devours aiptasia. He will pick on corals as well though. Mine will seek out aiptasia before it goes to town on any coral though.

My declivis butterfly eats aiptasia as well, and he leaves all my other corals alone.

Another fish would be the Aiptasia eating Filefish, Acreichthys tomentosus . I personally never had luck with this fish though.

All of these fish are hit or miss at best with LPS and Softies.

For a SPS reef, mixed reef, or LPS and clams, the Peppermint Shrimp is still the best answer in my opinion. Not a fish as you asked but the highest success rate with the minimum amount of risk. Just make sure you get the right species as they are often mis-labled. Also get more than one, as some individual pep's are more hungry for aiptasia than others. After the last pest is gone, keep them in your tank for another month or so (may have to feed them) and you will never see another aiptasia in your tank again.

I had a pair of Bristletail Filefish decimate 100's of aiptasia over the course of a month or so in a 75 gallon tank. Very peaceful to other fish and haven't bothered corals or clams.
