need return/overflow help

i cant seem to make heads nor tails of this mess...

i have the two bulkheads installed in the very nicely drilled holes (thanks will) in front of the coast to coast internal overflow, where they come out about 3 inches, go down about three feet, and now i'm trying to angle them in under the stand to dump into the 55g in there.

same for the return: i'm trying to go from the pump, out of the tank, at an angle out to behind the stand, then up a few feet, then over to dump in the display in front of the overflow.

for the overflow piping, can i use flexible vinyl hose from the pvc coming down into the bottom of the 55?

for the return, since the system will 'pressurized' do i need to use glued pvc only? what else can i do to make sure i dont send water everywhere, but still get around these edges?

thanks!

I always just use Pvc for my Drain lines... I glue the ones that are outside the sump, But most of the times the ones that are over or in the sump I just dry fit.. If they fit loose a little teflon tape will help make them snug.

For return lines it just depends. If its a long run I use pvc for most of it and just add a small section of flexible hose between the pump and the pvc... If its a short run I just use flexible hose..HTH
