Need Skimmer recomendations

Hey guys, haven't been on here for a while, many re-modeling projects in the house have kept me away. My sealife skimmer seems to have finally given out. Want to invest in a good skimmer to give me the clearest and cleanest water. I know bubble king is highly regarded but I jsut went on their site and have no idea what is good and what is bad. I have a 180 with 55 gal tank I'm going to be putting in as a sump underneath.


Any suggestions? Oh, I'd like to stay around $1K or less, preferrably $600 or less.
