Did you add 10 fish all at once? At 2 months, I would have started with 1 or 2 and gradually added more over time.

Both the gramma and the dottybacks fins seem shredded...

Are they fighting?

i know! it does look like they are fighting, but they aren't--at least not that i ever see.

if anything, the dottyback is really aggressive with my pink scaled wrasse. but i've never seen anyone mess with either of them.

Do not do hypo and copper at the same time. do them in sequence not parallel. If your going to use copper get a copper test kit.

cut down the phyto to two to three times a week.

When I changed my fuges light cycle to be 12 hours instead of 24 the cryno I had went away.

well that was just my experience and has worked 100%. you do NEED a copper test kit if you are going to go that route. hypo actually reduces stress for the fish, and in fish only tanks it is common to run the display at a less than normal level of salinity. i used copper at the same time it is very mild, and as i stated the hypo is stress reducing, so i have 100% kill rate for ich, and 100% live rate for fish.

i have done the same thing every time on several tanks on several occasions. now i QT every fish for 6 weeks before adding it to any display.
