need some advice

yea check with pdkinsel. i know he was selling a geo 418 or 612 with regulator, media, co2 tank half full and ph controller. one thing to keep in mind is that some calcium media can contain phosphates. i recommend soaking them in ro water or even running it through a po4 filter. if you can't find the thread or he does not chime in i'll have him contact you. great deal btw

i justed pm'ed him so he should reply if he's got it.

im thinking korallin.

they are a good product but i know george had one and never could get good results from it. he switch to a coralife and it has done a better job. the geo's are 3 steps above the korallin. i would say it in the same class as a shuran and it is twice the money as a korallin. by time you buy the koallin with the regultor, solenoid, bottle, media and the controller you are looking at 800 not shipped. i think he is selling the geo for half that with the same stuff

Oops sorry, Must have been the lights I was thinking off then. I have a schuran I purchased used. I like there stuff but it is high dollar. Really easy to dial in though. When I was looking I was gonna go with a GEO becuase their product seemed to be the best for the money.

I was researching the new AquaC RX-1 Calcium Reactor seems comparable to the Geo 618 or higher. I know some people that had the Geo's were considering the switch, anyone know any more about them?

We like Aerogas. They used to be over on Silver Star.

Their new location is 4340 N. Orange Blossom Trail. It's north of SilverStar, South of Lee Road. Phone is 407-297-6200. www.aerogas.com

We have a Geo Calcium Reactor. The schuran media works best for us - the media doesn't get clogged up and require the frequent monitoring and adjustments like the smaller media did.
Good luck with your unit - keep us posted on your results with it.
