Need some Blue or Green

I am looking to add two relatively small fish. I have a FOWLR system that has been established for appx 16 months with 160 LBs of LR. One addition will be a mandarin goby. The other, I am open. I have alot of reds and oranges in addition to a Hippo tang and yellow tang. I am looking for a peaceful, reef safe green or blue fish. Any suggestions? Probably will get on this in two weeks.

How about a small group of Blue Reef Chromis, say 3 or 4. Maybe a Blackcap Basslet. They are purple and black.

Some good suggestions. I have heard that blue reef chromis are touchy fish. Here today, gone tomorrow. I had one in the beginning. Very healthy. One day breathing heavy, next day gone.

I have a 75gl with the following fish:
Hippo Tang
Yellow Tang
4 clown
3 chromis
Squarespot Antias-Male and Female
Dragon goby
Orchid dottyback
Flame angel
3 Bangaii Cardinals

I plan to add some liverock and a mandarin goby and one other fish. I have enough reds and oranges. All suggestions are appreciated.

It's really a much better idea to start your own thread with questions that arent related to the subject people are discussing. :)

Heres a link to some good info for beginners.

Good luck!!!:)

that tank seems pretty full. you should probably remove the hippo and some clowns before they get too big.

my 75 only has a few small gobies, 8 green chromis and i'm about to add a small hog and pygmy angel. all i'll add after that will be more small gobies and maybe eventually a comet. but otherwise i'm done.

Wow. 17 fish in a 75. You should add 3 more instead of two. 20 fish sounds much more impressive. Does everyone get along?

Some chasing, but nothing that bad. Once I rearranged the LR to create additional hiding spots, much of the chasing went away. Everyone seems to have their own spot. The yellow tang seems to be the most annoyed, but it is minor. All in all, very peaceful. With additional live rock, I think I can handle two small additions. Definetely the Mandarin goby, then I'll see.

What kind of lighting do you have? They aren't fish, but if you had adequate lighting, how about a clam or two? I have three clams in my tank; one is purple and the other two are brilliant blue. They really add a bright splash of color to the landscape. You may have an issue with the flame angel picking at them, but it was worth suggesting to you.

Great suggestion. Down the road, I would love some clams. I do not have special lighting.
Currently, I also do not have the time to devote to clams as far as maintaining and care if things go wrong. I do love them though.
