Need some formalin ASAP

Anyone know where I can get any?

I purchased a couple fish from a LFS.

My flame angel recently died in QT 2 days after purchase. I thought it was velvet but it looks like it was Brooklynella .

I thought was I in the clear after that, but I now a coral beauty I purchased from the same store is suffering from the same thing. Does anyone know anywhere locally where I can purchase some formalin?

The coral beauty is fairing better then the flame currently. It is still eating and isn't lethargic as the flame was. It might not make it but it looks like I will need to treat the 2 other fish (tail spot and blue tang) asap even though they aren't showing signs.

I think rid-ich and quick-cure are formalin medications, not sure where they are sold but hope it helps.

you could also try formalin 3 but I'm not sure of the formaldehyde %

Ty for the post. I was looking more for something I can get locally, asap, whether buying it off a local reefer or if anyone knows a pet store that sells it.

I'm afraid that if I order online my coral beauty won't make it in time.

I want to say Elmers sells it but I am not sure. Prazi pro for sure but not sure on formalin. Rid ich is carried there

I have prazi pro. I'm actually treating it in the qt as it is standard procedure.

Sounds like formalin is the other thing to cure Brooklynella.

Aqua world doesn't have any Formalin atm. Wet pets and Elmers dont open till noon...

the Coral Beauty is already hovering at the top of the tank. IDK if he is going to make it before I can get some medication...
