I am spinning my wheels here lol, I am all setup I got my 32g res filled with rodi in the basement, my IKS top off pump that does a great job (too good) and tubing ran to my sump. Guess what I am missing?

I cant seem to get any help with mississippi lime to sell me a bag of Codex quicklime.
I have found Mrs wages online and would have to have it shipped but would rather not use that and would rather use what you guys are using.
Is Hydrated lime the same I found some local at agway, says its 50lb of Hydrated lime made by graymont (pa) inc.
Same for quicklime. I can find quicklime locally.
also I was at a LFS today and saw a tub of Kent Kalkwasser mix is this the same stuff as codex quicklime?
Does home depot, Tractor Supply sell the type of lime I am looking for?
Codex means food grade correct? does it have to be codex?
Again, I want to use what you guys are using. but it seems the best stuff is not available (mississippi lime) anyhelp would be greeaaatly appreciated.

O and if anyone wants to sell me 5 - 10lbs, ide glady pay top dollar to end this headache. I'll pay for Fedex overnight shipping!
I wouldn't use agricultural grades of lime. It might have a lot more impurities, and may even be just calcium carbonate.
Codex or FCC means food grade. I discuss most everything about lime, including grades, in this article:

Randy I read all of that article and understand most of the key points, I am however not ashamed to say that i dont get all the formula's. I found Mrs Wages lime in NJ where my wife is today, she is picking it from agway for me. I am just going to use that for now. Thanks again for the help
