Alright, to sum it all up, I am looking to set up a coral tank, and someone who can help me get a 40g (or anything close) long tank with overflow and a sump/skimmer filter system (also I was considering a canister filter?), I do have a 20g tank I can use for that though. Currently I have a 50g cornertank with a stand, 350gph and 150gph hang on filters, metal halide lighting, heater, mj600, LR, LS, 2 clowns, wrass, hermits, snails, a few frags of zoas and shrooms. I want to, if possible at all, trade my tank stand and filters for someones long tank and filter system, and keep all of my livestock and water to put in my hopefully new tank.
My goal is to set up a coral tank, which would not work too well in my corner tank. Also I do not like having hang on filters, and would prefer one of those seperate tank filters I've been reading about. I'm moving to columbia Aug 17th so I have until then to set up and get everything ready because I will be busy once down there with school. If anyone at all could help me get my desired tank with little to no more cost from me I would GREATLY appreciate it. Any help will be amazing. p.s. possibly a canister filter? I was looking at a FLUVAL 404. Whats peoples takes on this?
