im trying to figure out how to get water to drip into a tank about 3.5 gallons and drip out of the bottom of the tank at the same speed. i was thinking of maybe a baffle like system on one end of the tank and have it drip onto the other side of the tank. so when it fills up it overflows to the other sideand drips out of a hole in the bottom. is there another way to do it?

im making an aclimation tank. iv seen ones like what im trying to uild its called "the aclimator" or something like that but its basicaly 10.5" L x 6.5" W (8" including hang-on part) x 7.25" H acrylic box with a hole on one side of the tank and a piece to hold air line tube at the top. but it doesnt show any baffle setup in it so im trying to figure out how it works by not draining the water faster then it fills. i cant seem to find a good picture of it to see.

heres the website. its on sale right now for $70.00 no including shipping.

lol thats what i said. i have the materials now to make it im just trying to figure out that little problem. i spent $10 bucks on all the materials.. lol big price drop.

I use a tupperware container or plastic coffee can with dripline inside of a 5g bucket or rubbermaid tub.
After the small container fills the excess just spills over into the bucket or tub until I'm done acclimating.

i do that now, was just trying to find something that looked a little nicer, main reaso for this is to get it off the floor with my big doog and baby.. she likes to touch water.....
