Need some Magnesium

Does anyone have some spare Mag to sell? I think I need to start dosing it as I'm having an issue with my LPSs receding. All other corals are doing great even my SPS (go figure). I have a Mag test kit on order and should have it the beginning of next week. All other water parms are where they should be.

pick up epsom salts at your local pharmacy for your immediate needs... but get some mag chloride on order... get in on URS Bulk reef supply discount

I have 2 bags of Mag...been sitting a while. I am not sure how long it is good for...anyone know?

You could have em for $5 each (I think I paid like $10 for them).

Do you test for mag or is this a feeling that you need it? I try not to put anything in unless I test for it. That way you can be sure it is what you need and that you do not over dose something.

Just a thought.

I have a mag test on the way. I've tested for everything else and those readings are good. I have a feeling that the mag is low since from my research that seems to bethe culprit and I dont dose it.

My hyrdno, favia candy cane and frogspawn are receding.

Do you have 2 of the 40lb bags of MagFlake? If so, as long as they didn't absorb a ton of moisture and start to liquify, it's good forever.
If you do have MagFlake, I'll buy a bag off you. It would be worth the drive for me.
