need some opinions

i have a 12G Nano
and i want to add a shrimp
i have 2 clowns, zoos, shrooms, xenia, and hermits and nassaris snails
and my LFS said it would be ok to add one

what do you think?
if so what kind of shrimp?
(i was thinking of a blood red fire shrimp because i have wanted one for a long time)

Hi Steven0000, I have a blood red shrimp in my 12 gallon as well. His name is Fred. I don't have any fish in the tank other then him. I...like you, have always loved these beautiful shrimp. He was a little shy at first but now he does his dance for food every day. Check his picture out in my photo gallery. I don't think the clowns will bother your blood red shrimp. He'd probably be a welcomed addition to the tank.

A cleaner shrimp would do fine. I had a skunk cleaner in my last reef and fire shimp in my current 12g nanocube. I love the intense red of the fire shimp, but they tend to cost more. Agreed that they can be a bit reclusive, but actively come out to feed.
