Need some pics/help with in wall install??

I'm planning my basement tank that will be sunk in the wall.
MY QUESTION:
How do you install the tank flush with the sheetrock (or close) and make it look good and be supported at the same time?

I'm guessing use the existing studs as legs and cap them with the supporting frame for the bottom of the tank, then just trim the front of the tank with molding...........!?!?

If you have any pics I would love to see them!
Thanks for any help/guidance..

There are several methods depicted on the large tank forum.

Here is a link to my build thread, with details on how I did it so the tank wouldn't be "sunken" into the wall and partially blocked by wall studs, sheet rock, etc.

It's a long thread but you can scroll through it pretty quickly as it is picture intensive. There is an index on the last page of the thread (pg 40) before the split.

Ask any questions you would like.

Do it the same way - just have the face of your stand even with the drywall of your display wall. When you trim it and add panels, they are no thicker than a picture frame and your sofa will work there...however, you will regret having your back to the tank... your neck will get a painful "crick" from constantly turning to watch your fish...;)
