Need squammy help asap

I just got a 12" squammy and i have it sloped a little bit. Will the foot eventually let go and cuase the clam to come tumbling down on my coral? Or will the foot stay attached?

Try to set the clam on a level surface. Unnecessary stress on the byssus gland should be avoided.
