Need suggestions for dosing pump

With my reset of my tank and the reduction of SPS, I've decided to get rid of my CR. I'm going the dosing route for now. I looking for some suggestions for dosing pumps. I've heard mixed reviews about the Aqua Medic doses and the LiterMeter III seems to get very expensive when you start adding more modules.

Wondering if anybody else had any thoughts or recommendations.

Another vote for the Drew's pumps. It's what I use to dose my 2-part. Here's a pic of my setup.

Thanks guys for the heads up! Iam wondering how effecient a Drew's pump would be for an ATO?

They could work, but I think they'd be too slow for my tastes. The Drew's pumps dose at a rate of around 1.5ml/min. Depending on how quickly you lose water, the pump might be running pretty much constantly.

Here's a question for those that are using Drew's Dosers on an AC etc...is there any problem related to "low-power factor" that existing in other pumps and powerheads.

For instance, I had to use the "relay channel" outlets on my DC8 (i.e. outlets 4&8) when using aqualifters because they wouldn't stop running otherwise when the outlet was shut-off by the controller.

I don't have mine plugged into the relay channels on my DC8 and haven't had any issues when them getting stuck on. Knock-on-wood. :-)

Yeah I'd never be caught up with my evaporation at those rates.

cool...that's good news.

Your question peeked my curiosity so I did a quick search and found this thread: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=1448872

It pertains to the Reefkeeper series but the issue around the relays is the same. From that thread, looks like it could be an issue plugging into the relay channels, but that if they work off the other channels it should always work. If that makes sense :-)
