Need T5 bulbs ASAP. Do you know any LFS that sells?

I'm looking for ATI/Geismann T5 bulbs. Anyone know who sells them in the area?

Saltycritter only sells UVL.

I was just at salty critter about 3 weeks ago and the one guy showed my the T5 bulbs they had - I believe they were in the neighborhood of 54 watts. So you might want to give them a call or shoot them an email.

Not in the area but Reefgeek.com carries them.

If you find them locally I would like to know though.

The UVL bulbs are weak PAR wise. About 20-40% less than ATI. Colors are nice though.

I ordered from Reefgeek. They took forever and everything was broken. Don't want to wait 2 more weeks but I might not have a choice...

Are you saying that the T5 bulbs Salty critter carries are the weaker type, PAR wise?

That's good to know since I was getting ready to set up a new tank and I'm gonna use T5 this time around!! I will just see if they can get the type I want, which I'm guessing is the ATI (I'm still in the process of researching this)!!

Check out some of the T5 threads in the lighting forum. The UV/URI bulbs had some of the lowest pars plus they are a bit pink. The D&D/Geismann were good but the ATI were best. This is assuming the colors work for you. You can spend hours going through the T5 threads looking at color combinations.

Reefgeek and Premiumaquatics carry ATI.

I just got back from Salty Critter and they just today they just got the ATI/Geismann T-5's in stock. Also he has in the high par GE 6500K T-5's.

lol...he ordered something else for me and emailed me. Mentioned the lights. Good to know. The ATI seem to be the best. I ordered through Reefgeek but I might do some swapping.
