There is alot of info here if you look around. . .probably all anyone could ever ask for and the people are also the great for advice.

Also, you could go to www.wetwebmedia.com that is also a very helpful site for beginer info.

I bought Mike Paletta's book and read it about a dozen times. I think it's called "New Aquarium" or something; has a black and white fish on the cover. Well written and lots of good info.

I would start with the links provided above..also visit your LFS-local fish store. This hobby is like an onion....no two are the same and you keep learning everyday...keep an open mind and good luck.
