It's a pain. I nearly had to rip the tank apart when I tried to get one out of my tank long ago. There's some threads on diy acrylic fish traps out there. Might be too much work though.
I've tried the nets. they go into the rocks and hide. I've even tried leaving the nets in the tank over night to try to let them get used to it. they don't fall for it.
i originally started off with 3 blue damsels and later found out they would be a problem so i decided to take them out.. what a joke that was and the laugh was on me.. it took me taking out most of my live rock to get them out. and one would of thought i was in a wet tshirt contest by the time i got threw
id take a little 20oz plastic coke bottle and put some mysis into it. hold it horizontal in the tank and push out a little food to entice him in, once he goes in quickly hold it vertical. I did it to mine acouple of times during some tank moves and it worked like a charm.
