need to find mantis.

hi im in the southern california area and i've really been looking for a mantis. i bought one last weekend but it didnt end well...it died shortly after acclimation. i was PO'd. it was a 3 inch O. scyllarus. (sorry if i spelled badly). anyways, i was wondering if anyone knew of a way i can get ahold of somthing smaller. i only have a 5 gal tank. so i was looking for N. wanasumthing or another....sorry i have no idea how to spell it. any species that is smaller than the one i bought. the only thing is no store around here carries anything else and i havent seen websites that sell anything other than the peacocks... can anyone help me? or anyone care to give me one...will pay for shipping?

Try calling Tongs. If it is possible to get one they will for you.

where is tongs...i've heard of it before but i've never been there...i actually am not that far from you

Tongs is in fountain valley. You take the 405 to magnolia and then it will be on the left side in the same parking lot as the mobil station.

I find it hard that you are desperately searching for a Mantis and I can easily get one anytime.

The seafood restaurants stock them fresh here in Taiwan.

oo man if u posted this one day earlier i could have given u mine..... it was a 1 inch long red mantis with a green head (i dont know what species) but on july 1st i gave it to my friend that works at the LFS.
