Need to ID My horse

my guess is Reidi but im not sure.. it would be better to wait and here what the more experienced people have to say.....
that is a beautiful horse..is he WC or CB???

now that I know the differences about the crown

I also say reidi!!!

what else do you have? we want pictures... lots of pictures...

Try looking at the pages in this ID guide.

Identifying seahorses is not strait forward because there is a lot of variability within species.

How long have you had this horse and how big is it? It looks like a male and has a fairly slender body. The crest is also erect. Could be Reidi. The snout looks short for a reidi.

How long ago did he stop and what did he eat before he stopped?

Go to seahorse.org or syngnathid.org and check out the disease section of either sites library. If your horse is sick, you need to identify the disease quickly and treat appropriately. Horses go downhill fast when they get sick.

Live or frozen? Is this a solitary seahorse? How active is it compared to when it was feeding? are there any new marks or patches on the skin anywhere? White tail tip?

I would not panic or anything, just watch your horse closely and make note of any behavior changes.

Oh, and the most obvious question is: How do you know your horse is not feeding? do you remove all uneaten food from the tank?

From the first pic, if it was taken in the last 2 days, your horse looks quite healthy.

OK, cool. I just noticed you have two clowns in with him. Are they bothering him at all? Is it possible they are eating his food before he gets a chance?

Lots of folks don't like clowns with horses, but some do this. Seahorses are very slow eaters.

Your horse has nice colours by the way.
