Need to relace my Orbit bulbs :What PC temp are good for Zoas

I felt like playing around w/ the set up --


it comes w/ 6700 and 10000K then 420 and 460 actinic

what light is better for zoas and macro algae?

I was thinking of changing to a double 460 and then keep the 6700/10K or change that up too?

Mine seem fine... I basically have the same set up temp.

50/50 bulb and a dual actinic. They don't demand a lot of light anyways. It just makes the tank more blue, nicer to look at then the yellow **** color that the 10k puts out.

I agree with ek9vboi.

I'm thinking of replacing the 10K / 6700K bulb with the 50 / 50 bulb when the time comes for the same reason. I prefer the way my zoos look under actinics.

i been runnig my 29 gal with 2 65 watter attinics and i like the way it looks to be honest with you and imthinking of taking my 175 w MH off and put a 96 w quad pc light

I have had good results with a straight 10k + the dual actinic.
