NEED to remove cleaner shrimp..... Trap?

Will the typical bottle trap work with cleanershrimp? Should i just throw some food in the bottle and wait it out?

I need to get rid of these 2 pests.... all they do is steal food all day long and bother my hands when im trying to work in the tank

Anyone had success? And they are too quick for me to just "grab them" even though they come up to me

Jsut grab them!!

If they are like MY cleaner shrimp, they will jump on your hands. Grab a small raw shrimp and hold it in the tank... Shrimp comes up to feast... Grab him.

Or put the raw food in a pint glass and put that in the tank. Shrimp goes in to eat it. Put your hand over the top and voila... you got him.

"Pests?" lol, dang these are one of my favorites, they are like puppies jumping on you as soon as you go in the tank. I agree though just grab 'em.

I used a meat fork for the crab that I had that had to leave. The big metal ones for the BBQ. just dont be to ruff as to hit the glass hard..

boy at $35.00 locally wish i was close to as i'd have taken them. I think it's cool that such a tiny little animal that does so much good in aquaria has no fear of me.
