I need to pull my sump out to clean it and possibly replace it. Only way out is through the cabinet door. There's a brace in the center and I'm concerned about affect the structural integrity of the unit. The tank is a 40B. And the sump is an Eshopps RS300. It will barely fit out the doors. Tips?

if you can screw a piece of 3/4" plywood to the back of the upper frame of the opening. make sure to go as wide as you can with it. then remove the brace. or if you're really concerned double up the 3/4" plywood.
